Pre and Post Care Information

If you suspect a complication post procedure, please call the mobile number in your post procedure email ASAP and in the case of a life threatening issue please call 000 or attend the emergency room of your closest hospital.

Please complete the detailed medical form sent to you via text message before your appointment.
Please familiarise yourself with our cancellation policy. All late cancellations within 24hours will have their deposit claimed.
Please attend alone- no friends or children. Whilst we love children- for the safety of everyone it is best to attend alone.
If you have an infection, are unwell and not in good health, we recommend that you wait until you are well before any injectable procedures. You must let us know 24hrs prior to your appointment where possible.
Avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatories and blood thinning medications (nurofen, voltaren, aspirin, heparin, warfarin, clexane, fish oil, omega 3’s etc) 24-48 hours before and after your appointment.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, procedures are NOT permitted.
If you are undergoing any fertility treatments or complex medical treatments e.g. chemotherapy, please speak to your specialist before booking an appointment.

No laying flat for 4 hours post procedure
No rubbing (gentle cleansing is fine) in the treated area for 7 days
No dermal treatments like skin needling, microdermabrasion, cosmetic tattooing etc, for 2 weeks post procedure.
No excessive sweating (hot spa’s/sauna’s) and no excessive exercise for 24 hours post procedure.
Follow up/top up appointments must done 2 weeks post treatment. Extra units needed will be at the injectors discretion and charged per unit.

Treatment is NOT permitted 2 weeks before or after COVID infection and any vaccinations/vaccine boosters.
If you have an active or healing cold sore- you must wait until the skin has returned to normal before having treatment in/around the area (nose/mouth)
If you have a HISTORY of coldsores, please take preventative anti-viral over the counter medication within 24 hours of treatment in the area (nose/mouth)
Non emergency general anaesthetic and major dental work is NOT permitted 4 weeks after lip treatments.
In the rare case of complications occurring, we recommend that you do not leave the state/country within 7 days of dermal filler treatments.
We recommend you do not fly within 7-14 days of dermal filler treatments.
Do not get skin treatments over the treated area for 4 weeks. For example: Skin needling, laser, cosmetic tattooing, chemical peels etc over facial filler.
If you experience any sharp & persistent pains, discolouration on or around the treated area or pustules/blisters please notify us ASAP.
